Our Partnership with GCT
GCT Semiconductor is one of a select few global suppliers of crucial 5G FWA chipsets. GCT is the only company offering 5G chipsets with multi-antenna modem technology and holds over 120 proprietary IPs.
GCT's system-on-chip solutions integrate radio frequency, baseband modem, and digital signal processing functions into a single die, offering comprehensive 4G LTE & 5G solutions renowned for their small form factors, low power consumption, high performance, and cost-effectiveness.
As these chips must be sold as a module, Petalink Systems plays an important role as a priority supplier of GCT's 5G chip modules, serving both the U.S. and global markets.

Petalink consists of a team of 5 dedicated members. The engineering/production personnel will be in charge of working with GCT’s engineers and our sub-contractor SMT companies to manage quality control and seamless production.

Chee Ho Shin
CEO | Owner
Mr. Shin has decades of experience in investment banking and corporate finance. He has a proven track record of leading M&A deals and building ventures, including the merger between Hyundai Motors and Kia.
Since early 2023, Mr.Shin has supported various pre-IPO funding and royalty partnership efforts for GCT to facilitate the production of its 5G chips.
Based on the trust built with GCT's executive team, including CEO Kyung Ho Lee, Mr. Chee Ho Shin secured first-priority supply rights for future GCT 5G chip modules and exclusive rights to manufacture GCT-brand V2X modules.
Hyun Chul Han
Head of Production
Mr. Han is an expert in global production and management with over 20 years of experience with major companies like Samsung Electronics, Samsung SDI, and LAM Research. He has a proven ability to establish and scale global manufacturing facilities, having set up operations in China, the U.S., and Vietnam.
Joon Yong Shin
Director
Joon Yong Shin has played a supporting role in raising funds for GCT's pre-IPO and for Petalink. He has a bachelor's degree in economics and has 8+ years of experience in finance and management over manufacturing companies.

Samtec Co.
​Founded in October 1996, Samtec is a proven SMT/PCB manufacturing partner with strong technical expertise, supplying major companies such as Samsung and LG, as well as major electronics firms in China, Vietnam, the U.S., and Europe. Its factory operates eight lines primarily equipped with Panasonic high-speed mounters.
For our 5G chip modules, the factory can produce approximately 70,000–75,000 units per line per month—up to 500,000 units monthly, factoring in existing third-party orders.
Mirae SMT
Founded on December 26, 1990, the company specializes in developing, manufacturing, and servicing semiconductor equipment, including SMD (Surface Mount Device) mounters and test handlers.
Mirae SMT provides its services to companies in Europe, Asia, the Middle East, and the Americas.
Our partnership with Mirae SMT provides a dedicated capacity of 5 lines equipped with Panasonic & Yamaha SMT mounters. This gives us a production capacity of up to 300,000 units per month, ensuring we can meet the high demands of the 5G module business.
